Mercy on all

Our Mission is Threefold

WE WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THE GOD OF THE BIBLE

“God is love.” 1 John 4:8

Sadly, many people imagine God as a harsh tyrant, sitting on a throne in heaven, looking down at humanity with displeasure.

They think God is angry and uncaring, indifferent to our needs and struggles, and always holding our past against us. Worst of all, these people imagine God as unforgiving—so unforgiving that He would cast lost souls—precious souls, souls created by Him—into an unrelenting fiery darkness.

The Bible says otherwise.

The Bible says God is close to us—not far removed. It says God counts the hairs on our heads and numbers all our steps simply because He loves us.

And the Bible says God only plans good for us—not evil. It says all good gifts are from Him. Joy and laughter, cherished family and friends, the air we breathe, the food we eat, and even the beating of our hearts are all good gifts from God.

God is not harsh or uncaring, not indifferent or unforgiving. God is love.

His very nature is outpouring selflessness. His entire being—every thought, every motive, every action—is Love. Love is His holiness. Love sets Him apart. And Love sent Jesus Christ—the most perfect expression of Love—to save us.

WE WANT EVERYONE TO HEAR THE GOOD NEWS

Jesus Christ is God giving Himself to us. Jesus Christ is God made flesh. Jesus Christ is God breaking down every barrier between us and Him. Jesus Christ is the answer to all our problems. Jesus Christ is God’s promise.

And the promise is beautiful: God—through His Son, Jesus Christ—will reconcile the whole universe, including every single person, to a loving relationship with Himself. Despair and decay, sickness and suffering, all the brokenness of our bodies and our relationships will be healed. Even death, and all the sorrow that accompanies it, will cease to be. God’s only Son, Jesus Christ, will make the whole universe new. Sin will end. All people will be reconciled to God and to each other. This is the Good News!

WE WANT TO MAKE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST

The Good News is a wonderful message of reconciliation. It is an invitation to follow Jesus Christ.

God loves us. He sent Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior, to heal us, and to make us new.

But salvation happens with us—not apart from us. The Bible says we must love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. To do this, we must follow Jesus.

So, turn to Jesus. Trust and obey Him. Become the person you are supposed to be, the person God intended you to be before sin and death entered the world. Forever feel supreme wholeness, warmth, healing, and joy by living for Jesus Christ.

Become Jesus’ disciple. Be reconciled to God. Experience salvation.

MERCY ON ALL IS COMMITTED TO THESE THREE TRUTHS: EDUCATING EVERYONE ABOUT THE GOD OF THE BIBLE, SHARING THE GOOD NEWS, AND MAKING DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST.
